The Matrice 300 Series CSM Radar (PART18) is a Circular Scanning Millimetre-Wave radar module that augments the Matrice 300 RTK's six-direction obstacle avoidance system with thin-obstacle detection — power lines, branches, wires — that the visual sensors can miss. Detection range 1.5–30m (5–98 ft) with 360° horizontal, 60° vertical, and 45° upward coverage. Configurable braking and warning distances trigger automatic stop and slow-beep alerts on the controller. Critical for night flight when the visual obstacle system is non-functional. IP45 rated, matching the M300 RTK's ingress protection.
