DJI Matrice 4 Thermal is a compact, four-sensor enterprise drone replacing the Matrice 30T. It combines a 48MP wide camera, a medium-tele camera, a 7x telephoto, a 640x512 thermal sensor and a 1,800m laser rangefinder in a folding airframe.

  • C2 marked - ready for flight in the Open A2 'Near people' category with an A2 CofC qualification.

  • Don't forget to add extras, such as additional flight batteries; RC Plus 2 strap, the D-RTK 3 for high-precision positioning and relay or the AL1 Spotlight / AS1 Speaker which can be used separately or together.

  • Training - Receive support from our in-house instructor team. All our training is face-to-face - tuition for individuals or organisations training multiple remote pilots.

  • Dedicated Survey Assistance - our DJI Certified Solutions team and survey trained and experienced team for wrap around hardware/software assistance.  The DJI M4T also comes with a free three-month DJI Terra licence.

How quickly can the M4T be in the air after arriving on scene?

The M4T launches in around 15 seconds from its compact folding airframe - faster than any other folding enterprise drone in the DJI lineup. Combined with a 49-minute max flight time, it's well-suited to rapid-response scenarios like missing person searches or first-on-scene fire assessment.

What does the M4T's laser rangefinder actually do for me?

It measures distances accurately up to 1,800m, which means you can tag GPS coordinates of a target (a casualty, a vehicle, a fire hotspot) from nearly 2km away without flying directly over it. It's a substantial upgrade over the Mavic 3T and saves time when standoff matters.

Will the M4T's AI detection work straight out of the box?

Yes - it ships with onboard AI models for detecting people, vehicles and boats in both visible and thermal views, with no cloud processing or latency. For specialist use cases (e.g. livestock counting), you'd need to develop a custom model via the DJI Developer Platform.
