The IP56-rated dock launches the M4TD in 10 seconds and operates from -30°C to 50°C, with vehicle-mounted deployment supported for the first time

  • Paired with the perfectly integrated DJI Matrice 4 Dock M4TD, it is it is ideal for automated surveillance tasking.

  • The M4TD has a thermal camera, Near Infra Red auxiliary light,, tele and medium telephoto cameras, wide angle camera and laser rangefinder, plus night vision and AI capabilities.

  • The Dock 3 is IP56 and the M4TD IP55 rated for dust and water ingress resistance.

  • Remember to choose payloads for your Dock 3 Matrice 4 Thermal Dock Combo - the Matrice 4 Obstacle sensing module, the AL1 Spotlight / AS1 Speaker which can be used separately or together, and DJI's edge processor, the Manifold 3.

How fast does the M4TD launch from Dock 3?

10 seconds from dock open to airborne, thanks to advanced GNSS standby. That's a meaningful improvement over Dock 2 and matters for time-critical deployments like alarm responses or perimeter intrusion alerts.

Can Dock 3 actually be deployed on a vehicle?

Yes - Dock 3 is the first DJI dock to support vehicle-mounted deployment, with horizontal calibration and cloud-based location calibration. You can even mount two docks on one vehicle for dual-drone rotations on continuous coverage missions.

What weather can the Dock 3 + M4TD combo realistically handle?

The Dock is IP56-rated and operates from -30°C (with preheating) up to 50°C. The M4TD itself is IP55 with low-noise anti-ice propellers and stable flight in winds up to 12 m/s, so the system is genuinely usable year-round across most UK climates.
